Our Mission

The Sparks and Wallace Foundations support the educational needs of students on each campus through scholarship assistance. Through the Foundations’ scholarship program, students are able to reach their educational dreams and enter the workforce as productive citizens. Donors like you help provide support that enables the WCC Foundations to award student scholarships each year. Because of your generosity, deserving students will be able to obtain a degree or transfer to a four-year institution and enter the workforce with marketable skills.

2022 Foundation Events

An Evening in the Hills of Kentucky – October 20, 2022

The annual fall scholarship fundraiser will take place at the Dothan Civic Center. Join us for an evening of festivities which will include a delicacy of American cuisine and opportunities to bid on silent and live auction items graciously donated by area businesses. WCCD scholarship students will be the guest speakers and exceptional entertainment will be provided by members of The Wallace Sound during the event. All proceeds from the event will be used for student scholarships.

An Evening With Wallace Community College Sparks Foundation - November 8 - 10, 2022

The annual fall virtual scholarship fundraiser will be live on the event website, which will feature WCCS scholarship recipients, auction items, and the event itinerary. Your participation will help meet the scholarship need of students who are not financially able to continue their education. The event proceeds will be used for student scholarships to help strengthen the Eufaula area and the local workforce through education and training.

FOUNDATION SPOTLIGHT

“I am currently working a part time job and going to school - which can be difficult at times. This scholarship will help lift a weight off of my shoulders, and it will help me to achieve my degree goals.”
